I do not have a registration time ticket.
As a new or returning student eligible for web registration, you'll get a registration time. You can register anytime on or after this time, but not before. If you didn't receive a time ticket, contact your campus registration office. Please ensure you select the correct term when registering.

I am getting a prerequisites error message?
Most courses have prerequisites. To find them, click on the course title and select prerequisites or co-requisites. You can also check the calendar under "Courses."
System Recognition: If you are enrolled or have transfer credits for the prerequisite course, the system should recognize it. If it does not (and you have met the prerequisites), contact the campus administration office or registrar鈥檚 office in person or via email (include your student number).
Exchange students: If you're an exchange student, your course approvals should be on your student record for web registration. If you have any issues, contact your campus registration office. To take another course at 星空传媒, submit a prerequisite waiver form.
I am trying to register for a course, and it says there is a time conflict?
When scheduling courses, ensure they don't overlap with your current ones. You can:
- Choose which course to register for in that term.
- Check if any courses are offered in another term to help decide which ones to drop.
- Fill out an Etrieve form in your myOkanagan account: My useful inks > Student form > Registration and withdrawal.
Fill out the form and click 鈥淐ourse conflict鈥

Once selected, you will need to enter the information for the conflicting courses.

You will need approval for both instructors in order to be registered on the conflicting course.
If approved, registration will process the request and enroll you in the course.
I get a message indicating the course has a program restriction?
Some courses have restrictions set by the Dean to ensure program students can register and graduate on time.
If another section is available, we recommend registering for that one. Deans decide if restrictions are lifted, allowing all students to register. Sometimes, restrictions stay in place.
Students can request approval to register for restricted sections by logging into their account and filling out an Etrieve form.
Please fill out all required information on the form and select the 鈥淧rogram restriction鈥 box. Enter the Dean鈥檚 name and reason for the request.

The form will be submitted to the Dean's office for approval (any form sent to registration will not be processed).

Students can view comments by logging into Etrieve.

If approved, the student will be able to web register for the course.
I am trying to register for a course and keep getting messages about the repeat count.
Students can usually try a course twice. If you need a third attempt, you'll need approval from a Dean, Director, or designate. A course counts as attempted if you get a final grade, including audit grades, or if you withdraw by the last day without academic penalty.
To register for a course the third time, you will need the Dean鈥檚 permission. Please log into your myOkanagan account and select the 鈥淐ourse repeat box鈥 on the registration and withdrawal form. Enter the name of the Dean or Associate Dean for approval.
