Stephanie Sonsona has been named the recipient of the Revelstoke Accommodation Association’s completion grant for 2021, receiving $1,000 to support her education. A group of ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ business students are once again putting the call out for volunteers from ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ and the community to help them harvest fruit that will be used to make healthy snacks for children and others in need. Launched in the fall of 2018, Fruit Snaps is a Vernon- and Penticton-based project co-ordinated by Enactus ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ students in partnership with the North Okanagan Valley Gleaners Society facility. Enactus’ FruitSnaps transitions into social enterprise

The award-winning Enactus initiative FruitSnaps is now running as a social enterprise after the student-run team recently launched apple juice boxes. The direct result of an abundant number of apples over the fall semester, the five-litre boxes of fresh apple juice are now available locally and online for purchase. All proceeds go back into the program and help to keep it sustainable.
